One of my favorite parts about playing in CAS is downloading and testing out new hairs. Here is my list of the best Maxis Match cc creators that specialize in hair!
I think that having a good variety of hairs for your sims is essential to creating varied and diverse characters! While I appreciate alpha cc, I am a big fan of Maxis Match and Maxis Mix cc styles. That said, I think that there are some creators in the Maxis Match cc field that deserve their flowers for gorgeous and detailed hairs for sims of all kinds!
What makes a good hair cc creator?
Attention to Detail
Something about base game hairs that I seriously dislike is the lack of detail paid towards almost every single one. Particularly, black sims’ hairs don’t receive the same level of care as other white hairs do.
Variety
A cc hair creator should have a variety of options. I don’t want the same straight, long, sleek hair every time. Like real life, everyone’s hair is unique and should be treated as such. If a creator doesn’t have an interesting variety of hairs, I won’t be downloading!
Consistency
I want to be able to blindly download your content without worrying that the back half of the hair is broken! Having consistently good hairs is essential to making this list.
Oakiyo
Oakiyo is one of my favorite creators for Maxis Match hairs for black sims! Their attention to detail in baby hairs and braids is beautiful! I always get so excited when I see them post!
Arethabee
Arethabee is an old favorite of mine- I am particularly fond of their short and medium hairs!! Always so cute.
Simcelebrity00
Simcelebrity00 will always be that bitch. These hairs are some of my all time favorites, and I can honestly say the quality is so good no matter how far back you go. They’re always on top of the latest hair trends, and usually have some adorable accessories to match!
Simstrouble
Simstrouble is another powerhouse cc creator! You will not ever go wrong picking up one of these!!

Daylife Sims
Daylife Sims is closer to Maxis Mix / alpha cc than it is purely Maxis Match. I love the shine and detail of these hairs, though, and they always give my sims such a gorgeous and ethereal look!
